libby + tony

When I first met Libby, she was a little quite, she was poised and simply put,
she was very elegant. She reminded me of a Hollywood movie star,
not the ones today, but someone like Audrey Hepburn.
Libby has a beautiful smile, a gentle way about her and she is sophisticated.
She walked like she was floating on air & when around Tony, she did . . .
float on air that is. They have an amazing connection.
My time on their engagement shoot reminded
me of the love & respect two people can have for one another.

Tony and Libby met at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC.
They were friends throughout college but never dated.
After graduation, Tony moved to Virginia and
Libby stayed in South Carolina.

They would see each other once or twice a year at homecoming
or friend's weddings. After several years had gone by they
started to see each other more regularly & would
talk on the phone several times a week.

They liked each other so much that they decided to date long distance.
So every couple of weeks, Libby would drive up to Virginia or
Tony would drive down to South Carolina.
However, they both realized they wanted more.
Together they wanted to build a life together.
A life built of their love, their faith and surrounded by their friends and family.

Tony was able to be transferred with his job down to
South Carolina . . . and YES . . . that led to an engagement.

Thank you Libby & Tony for trusting me to capture one of your most special days. Your strength and love will set a firm foundation for the marriage you will build. My happiest wishes go out to you both.
